The Bloomsbury Group Artists

An outstanding collection of works by the Bloomsbury Group Artists Vanessa Bell,Duncan Grant, Dora Carrington and Roger Fry. The show featured landscapes, portraits, still lifes, nudes and decorative pieces, including ceramics, many to be exhibited publicly for the first time.

Curated by Tony Bradshaw, internationally known art dealer and Bloomsbury author (a resident of Sherborne), The Bloomsbury Group Artists will be the most significant exhibition of the Bloomsbury artists' work ever to be held outside London.

Proceeds from the sales of the book 'A Bloomsbury Canvas' edited by Tony Bradshaw together with catalogues and draw tickets (with works by Vanessa Bell and Roger Fry as the prize) will go towards the development of the house as an arts centre and the restoration of the Thornhill mural.
