Using mostly black and white, my work has focused on formal qualities, such as surface texture and visual ambiguity in the landscapes of Scotland, Wales, the Pyrenees and Alps. Recently I have explored flat landscapes where the interaction of the natural, the industrial and the domestic has created unique coastal environments.
