Kazumi makes thrown and altered sculptural ceramic vessels developed from landscape. Exploring the malleability of clay the forms are manipulated to capture the movement, softness and fluidity of the material, leaving marks and textures on the surface, which enhance both the visual and tactile qualities of her work.
