From Berwick-upon-Tweed to Penzance my current body of work stands for all things unordered, jumbled and junked; it is a journey through the urban and post-industrial landscapes of an ageing world. In the Water Zones Series the landscape is one often glimpsed, fleetingly, from a car or train window or ferry; it is a landscape of departure and arrival and one where I question our perception of acceptance and of alienation.
