My collages are made from beach plastic weathered by lengthy ocean voyages yet still retaining their original brilliant colours. I combine these once, sophisticatedly designed, now fragmented objects to make new, tactile affinities far removed from their useful intention. Each work balances suggestion and memory with playfulness and nostalgia.
