My studio practice gives primacy to a broad materials-based approach in the development of art works. A further inclination to explore pattern making for its combined decorative and structural capacities allows a questioning of the boundaries between established fine art and craft disciplines, their associated material ranges, making processes, and aesthetic preferences.
