Classes and workshops

Although currently unable to present a full arts and education programme at Sherborne House, SHA will continue to promote contemporary visual art in the region and is currently presenting a series of exhibitions with accompanying seminars, artists’ talks and workshops at host venues along the coast. For further details please see Exhibitions and Events page. SHA will continue to present RAISE, our local schools exhibitions and youth project Foreland.

Rooms at Sherborne House are available for hire to artists and arts organisations wishing to run their own classes and workshops.

FORELAND

Foreland is a visual art project working with young people from Sherborne and a professional artist in the creation of a series of maps inspired by the experience of their exploration of local footpaths.
Work created for the Foreland project will be presented alongside the RAISE exhibition in October 2009.
